Aliza will discuss her approach to imbuing a global organization with operational excellence and overcoming challenges in doing so. Drawing on her experience at Better Place, the leading electric vehicle services provider, SAP and the SAP Global Labs Network, she will share her perspective on planning and building a global presence, deploying and leveraging operational infrastructure, enabling business functions and creating competitive advantage for the organization.

About the Speaker

Aliza Peleg , VP Planning/Operations and a founding member of Better Place, has been with the company since its official launch in 2007. In her role, she oversees strategic planning and enablement of Better Place operating companies at the country or regional level. Her operational responsibilities also range from supply-chain development to functions such as finance, information technology, and human resources.

Before joining Better Place, Peleg was managing director of SAP Labs U.S., where she was responsible for strategy and operations of the software company's labs facilities. She also led the SAP Global Labs Network and positioned it as a significant competitive advantage for the company.

Peleg joined SAP in 2001, after the company acquired TopTier Software, where she was general manager for five years. Prior to that, she served in business development and marketing roles at Scitex and Apple. Aliza has a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science and an M.B.A. from Tel-Aviv University.
